Although yes, the 3rd millennium did start in 2001, apparently because there wasn't a year 0, it's numerically incorrect for a millennium to start in technically the second year of that millennium. Kinda confusing, really. MCRainbowSupernova8196 (talk) 16:16, 1 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

That's just the way numbers work. 2000 isn't the 2001st number in a sequence but the 2000th. Canterbury Tail talk 17:04, 1 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
