Sub 1nm section
[edit]I believe it would be fitting to include a sub 1nm designed and researched chip section as IBM and others are researching and have produced prototypes at under 1nm (nomenclature/marketing term) such as IBMs .7nm/7Å chip that has 100bn transistors. Roadmaps from Intel, TSMC, ASML and others have also lined up future plans beyond 1 nm, some all the way to .2nm/2Å. These are mostly marketing terms, the actual gate pitch size is still around 40nm. ~2026-36540-07 (talk) 12:14, 28 June 2026 (UTC)
