Sandy Lyle

Sandy Lyle did not complete round 2. "The Majors of Golf" has him DQ as does ref 5 here (page 7D). However ref 6 gives a story about him going out of bounds on the 18th and walking in to save time. This is confirmed by "The Times" which goes into even more detail and talks about an NR. https://www.theopen.com/Heritage/PreviousOpens#!/1991/Royal-Birkdale also has him as NR and this seems to be correct.
