[edit]I think the page layout for "year in topic" in some places where it is flagged in the box as on this page 1915 is better. I seek opinions before making them all the same BozMo(talk)

Bias
[edit]Deb has been removing content from this and other year articles claiming that there is consensus for "lesser" figures and events to be removed. They have not shown where this consensus was achieved but, even if this consensus does exist, it seems to be applied selectively by those who have taken ownership of these articles. A quick glance of the article shows how heavily biased it is in favour of White anglophone entries. 60% of the entries in the births section are of individuals from America, Britain, Canada, Australia or New Zealand. Many of these entries would fail the unwritten rule Deb has been using to remove non-English speaking entries from these articles - a host of local/state politicians, non-international athletes and obscure actors and military personnel. And of course virtually every single one these entries is unreferenced. English Wikipedia has many rules and policies but only non-White Anglo Saxons have to follow them. - Quite. This bias is exactly what I'm trying to correct. All you seemed to want to do was to add lots of minor Finnish politicians. If you have looked at my edits, you'll see that, as well as removing some of those, I've also removed several minor American figures so as to redress the balance. This tendency to add everyone of your own nationality that you can possibly think of is the reason that Births and Deaths sections are gradually disappearing from Year pages.
