Note: In preparing this page, I had an LLM (Antigravity to be specific) go through the PDF at https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b105019034/f1.item (the obituary), OCR all the French (including handwritten cursive from some of the primary source docs cited elsewhere), translate it, and prepare formatted references. I've checked its work in parts but as my own French is very basic, there remains some risk that antigravity has misled me (although given that it's run by Google, no worse than the usual Google Translate woes seen elsewhere). Per WP:NOLLM, translation from other language wikis is an explicitly allowed case, so ideally nothing squirrely happened here.
Also, I marked this as a translated page, but this is mostly directly from the sources that the FR wiki article used (which is stronger). The main thing taken from French Wikipedia is the Mémoires de la Société académique du Touquet-Paris-Plage 1997–1999. p. 41 cite. That isn't online (or at least I didn't find it). But its claims seem pretty plausible, so I AGF'd it and included some claims cited only to it, not the obituary collection at BNF. SnowFire (talk) 05:12, 26 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
