SuperYou is an Indian nutrition company co-founded by actor Ranveer Singh and entrepreneur Nikunj Biyani.[1] The company is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra.[2][3]

History

[edit]

SuperYou was introduced in 2024 by Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and FMCG entrepreneur Nikunj Biyani.[4][5]

Nikunj Biyani has previously worked in India's packaged foods industry, including at Future Consumer Limited. As per the The Indian Express report, he conceived the idea for a better-for-you snacking brand and informally pitched it to Ranveer Singh during a basketball game. Ranveer Singh later joined as a co-founder and has since been involved in the brand's product development and strategy.[6][7]

The company uses fermented yeast-based protein technology to make its products.[8][9] SuperYou's first product was India's first protein wafer bar, made using a blend that has fermented yeast.[10]

Later the company expanded to protein wafers, baked multigrain chips, and fermented yeast protein powders.[1]

Expansion & growth

[edit]

SuperYou sold 1.6 million wafer bars in its first 3 months (Nov 2024–Jan 2025).[11] Crossed ₹100 crore in gross sales by mid-2025, and was running at roughly ₹150 crore annualized revenue by late 2025.[12]

In December 2024, Seed funding of $1.5 million received by Rainmatter Capital, a subsidiary of Zerodha.[13] It has received ₹63 crore (~$7M) led by V3 Ventures, with existing investors Rainmatter and Gruhas Collective in Series B funding.[14][15]

In March 2026, the SuperYou partnered with Starbucks to launch a 'protein foam'. It is developed by Starbucks using SuperYou protein.[16][17] In the same year SuperYou collaborated with Nutcracker.[18]
