Sirenas is a 2025 Peruvian thriller drama film written and directed by Nelson “Koko” Castillo.[1] It stars Lucy Bacigalupo accompanied by Diva Rivera, Estelita Ochoa, Cielo Lozano, and Jazmín Martínez.[2]

Synopsis

In Iquitos' oldest brothel, La Chuchupe's farewell party is shattered when a sex worker from the nightclub is found dead. From that moment on, the tension turns everyone into a suspect and exposes lives marked by poverty and inequality in the region.[3]

The film won the 2024 National Film Development Incentive Award, exclusive to the regions, granted by the Ministry of Culture for filming.[5]

On its first day in theaters, it drew 650 viewers,[7] ending its first weekend with a total of 2000 viewers.[8]
