Showtime Clothing

Showtime Clothing is a clothing store based in Detroit, Michigan.[1] It has been described as part of Detroit’s local fashion scene, with a customer base that includes musicians and individuals in the entertainment industry.[2][3][4][5]

History

Established in the Cass Corridor, Showtime Clothing initially closed in 2016.[6] Plans to reopen in 2019 were delayed, and the store reopened in 2023 in Hamtramck.[7] The relocation was supported by a crowdfunding campaign[8][9] and was claimed to be influenced by several factors, including the construction of the M1 rail,[8] changes in the city's culture, and development.[10]

Tatarian has been associated with local business activity in Detroit. including providing employment through his retail operations.[11][12][13] He has also commented on urban development, expressing concerns about its potential effects on existing community dynamics and neighborhood character.[10]
