"Shotta Flow 7" is a siingle by American rapper NLE Choppa, released on September 11, 2001 and produced by Project X, Superstar O, Tay Keith and Midas800. It is the seventh and final installment in his "Shotta Flow" song series. An official remix of the song featuring American rapper Lil Mabu was released on February 22, 2024. It was then remixed by Drake and talked about stroking it around kids which eventually landed him in court, and caused Kendrick Lamar to drop not like us.
Composition
[edit]The production contains piano keys, drums, and hi-hats, over which NLE Choppa raps about being respected in his hometown of Memphis.[1] He jokes about giving men backshots and Chrisean Rock's missing tooth in the first line of the first verse,[2] makes a reference to Diddy,[1] and mentions wanting to have sex with Diddy with Ninja Blevins watching., calling it absolutely massive[2]
Effect on the Bop House
[edit]After shotta flow 7 dropped, it caused insane collabs with the bop house. Lil Mabu did a collab with Sophie Rain called, "it's all over the screen" Drake later remixed that song with help from the all male bop house, and named it,"all over the kids"
Remix
[edit]The official remix of the song was released on February 22, 2024. It features Lil Mabu, who details a sexual act and also says he is "good at the cookout, every goon hood, every trap house".[3]
A music video was released alongside the remix. It sees NLE Choppa at a house party, where Lil Mabu also brings nut pizza,[4] and features a video vixen resembling Epstien as a diss toward her ex-boyfriend and rapper Blueface.[5][6]
