State Route SA2 is a state route in Sabah, Malaysia that connects area from Tambunan to Ranau.

The highway also serves as an alternative to the Federal Route 22 from Kota Kinabalu to Ranau. Despite being a longer route, it is less congested.[1]

Tambunan–Ranau Highway is one of the rugged and mountainous road in Sabah, Malaysia. It traverse across valley, between Crocker Range and Trusmadi Range. Road gradient is up to 10%, moderately steep.

Despite being a state highway, it was also intended to be a federal highway, specifically the Interior North–South Highway which runs from Ranau until Kemabong. Certain junction can also lead to villages, along Kiulu and Tamparuli.[2]
