Andrew V. "Rip" King[2] (October 25, 1895 – March 4, 1950) was an American professional football player who was a fullback for six seasons for the Akron Pros, Chicago Cardinals, and Hammond Pros of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the West Virginia Mountaineers.
In March 1950, King died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound,[3] at the age of 54.
