History
[edit]Ride Maldives Pvt Ltd was incorporated in 2016 under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Maldives.[1] The company initially focused on local information technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, and networking solutions aimed at bridging connectivity gaps in island environments.
With the expansion of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite communications in the region, Ride shifted focus toward enterprise-grade satellite internet integration, offering continuous remote monitoring, priority bandwidth management, and maritime installations across resort properties, commercial vessels, and remote island facilities.[2]
