Raghavan Chanderasekaran (born 8 June 1970) is an Indian weightlifter. He represented India at the 1988 Summer Olympics and the 1996 Summer Olympics.[1][2][3] He won three gold medals in the 1990 Commonwealth Games,[4] and three silver medals in the 1994 Commonwealth Games, to become the most decorated Indian male weightlifter at the Commonwealth Games.[5] He has also won a gold medal at the 1987 South Asian Games at Dhaka.[6]
He was awarded the Arjuna Award, India's second highest sporting honour, by the Government of India in 1990.[7]

When just 16 years, he managed to find a place in the Indian team at the South Asian Games in Dhaka in 1987 where he won a gold for weight-lifting.
