Punta El Chiquirín is the easternmost point of the mainland of El Salvador (not counting the land border with Honduras). It is located at 13°17′44″N 87°46′57″W / 13.2955556°N 87.7825°W / 13.2955556; -87.7825 and overlooks the Gulf of Fonseca.
