Parinariopsis is a monotypic genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Chrysobalanaceae. The only species is Parinariopsis licaniiflora.[3] It is a tree native to northern Brazil, Colombia, the Guianas, Peru, and Venezuela in tropical South America.[2]
