Sodium-dependent phosphate transport protein 2B (NaPi2b) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SLC34A2 gene.[5][6][7]

Clinical significance

[edit]

Sodium-dependent phosphate transport protein 2b (NaPi2b) is a tumor-associated antigen.[8]

upifitamab rilsodotin, an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting NaPi2b, was evaluated in Phase 3 clinical trials for recurrent platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer. The trials were, however, terminated in September of 2023 by the sponsor.[9]
