Nuclear distribution protein nudE homolog 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NDE1 gene.[5][6][7]

Clinical significance

[edit]

Mutations in NDE1 can cause severe and often fatal defects in fetal brain development, including lissencephaly and microhydranencephaly.[8][9]
