Miss Cosmo USA is a national beauty pageant in United States aiming to select the country's official representative for the Miss Cosmo pageant. This organization was established in 2024 following the founding of the international Miss Cosmo pageant by Vietnam's UNICorp and UNIMedia.
History
[edit]Miss Cosmo was established in 2023 by UNICorp and UNIMedia under the leadership of Tran Viet Bao Hoang. This international beauty pageant is set to launch in 2024.[1][2]
In 2024, H&I Grand Productions—the entity that acquired the Miss Grand USA license—split from MGI PCL and officially joined the Miss Cosmo Organization. Israel Silva, the Chicago-based founder of H&I Grand Productions, established Miss Cosmo USA and appointed Samantha Jo Elliott to represent the United States at the Miss Cosmo 2024 pageant, where she placed in the Top 5.[3][4]
Following that achievement, H&I Grand Productions partnered with Laura's Productions—led by Laura Hajjar Brown, a Lebanese-American businesswoman from El Paso—to organize Miss Cosmo USA 2025 as the inaugural national pageant. The Miss Cosmo Organization also officially announced Israel Silva and Laura Hajjar Brown as the national directors for Miss Cosmo USA.[5]
In 2025, Yolina Serafina Lindquist from Metropolis, Illinois, won the inaugural Miss Cosmo USA 2025 pageant and represented the United States at Miss Cosmo 2025. She won the final competition, becoming the first American woman to claim the title.[6][7]
In March 2026, the Miss Cosmo USA Organization officially announced that Miss Cosmo USA 2025 runner-up Zoe McGrady would assume the title of Miss Cosmo USA 2025, replacing Yolina Lindquist, who had won the international crown. This decision was made to ensure the continued existence of Miss Cosmo USA.[8]
