Ghosts of the Past is the third box set by alternative rock band Starflyer 59. It was released on July 28, 2009 by Tooth & Nail Records.[1] Released on CD and digital download, it features second box set Ghosts of the Future (2007),[a] a 10 record 7-inch vinyl series. Ghosts of the Future consists of demo and alternative versions of tracks found on eleventh studio album Dial M (2008), covers, and a remix of a track from tenth studio album My Island. Ghosts of the Past also features the sixth, seventh, and eight Starflyer 59 EPs: The Last Laurel (2004), I Win (2006), and Minor Keys (2008).[2][b]

[edit]- ↑ Ghosts of the Future was recorded between February–August 2007. It is dedicated to the memory of band frontman Jason Martin's late father, John F. Martin, who had died that year.[3]
