Melanella conoidea is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Eulimidae. The species is one of many species known to exist within the genus, Melanella. [1] [2]

Description

The maximum recorded shell length is 12.7 mm.[3]

(Original description in Latin) The shell is lanceolate-conical, white, and very glossy. It has 13 whorls, which are flat; the body whorl is subangulate. The aperture is rhomboidal. [4]

Minimum recorded depth is 0 m.[3] Maximum recorded depth is 538 m.[3]
