Louis Millard is an English-born Kenyan professional footballer who plays as a attacking midfielder for EFL League Two club Swindon Town.[1]
Career
[edit]Melksham Town
[edit]Louis Millard began his career in non-league youth football with Melksham Town. He made his senior debut for Melksham as a substitute against Cinderford Town in December 2024 and went on to make five more appearances in the Southern League Division One South that season, scoring his only Melksham goal in the 2–2 draw against Mousehole in April 2025.[2][3]
Swindon Town
[edit]In August 2025, it was announced that Millard had joined Swindon Town’s under-18 squad, with whom he spent the 2025–26 season.[4]
The following year, Ian Holloway promoted Millard to the senior squad, and he featured regularly throughout pre-season. He made his competitive debut in a 2–1 EFL Cup defeat to Cardiff City, narrowly missing out on a debut goal when his initial effort was deflected into the net by Gabriel Osho. The following week, Millard made his EFL League Two debut, starting in a 0–0 draw against Northampton Town, before scoring his first professional goal in a 3–1 victory over Port Vale on 1 September.[5][6][7]
On 14 August 2026, Millard signed a professional contract with Swindon Town, extending through 2028.[8]
International career
[edit]On 1 September 2026, Millard was named in Benni McCarthy’s provisional squad for Kenya’s 2027 AFCON qualifiers against Eritrea and Guinea.[9]
