Levi Bullerman is an American college football coach. He is the interim head football coach at Southwest Minnesota State University, a position he has held since September 2026 following the retirement of Scott Underwood.[1] He previously coached at Illinois College, Presentation College, and the University of Minnesota Crookston. He played football at Southwest Minnesota State as a linebacker.[2]

Playing career

Bullerman was a member of the Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs from 2005 to 2009. He earned four varsity letters and started for three seasons at linebacker. A team captain in 2009, he recorded 154 tackles, five sacks, and three interceptions in 44 career games.[2]

Coaching career

Bullerman began his coaching career in 2010 as the defensive line coach at Illinois College. He joined Presentation in 2011 as its linebackers and special teams coach, serving on the staff during the program's first two seasons.[2]

From 2013 to 2017, Bullerman was an assistant coach at Minnesota Crookston. His responsibilities included coaching special teams, defensive linemen, and linebackers. He also served as recruiting coordinator for four seasons and defensive coordinator in 2017.[2]

Bullerman returned to Southwest Minnesota State as an assistant coach in 2018. He became defensive coordinator in 2022 and also coached the team's linebackers.[2] On September 20, 2026, he was appointed interim head coach for the remainder of the season after Underwood announced his immediate retirement.[1]

Education

Bullerman graduated from Southwest Minnesota State in 2010 with a degree in sports management. He later earned a master's degree in education-coaching from Greenville University.[2]
