Landyn Locke is an American college football quarterback for the Sam Houston Bearkats.
Early life
[edit]Locke attended Rockwall High School in Rockwall, Texas.[1] As a junior, he passed for over 2,000 yards with 20 touchdowns. Early in his senior season, he suffered a torn ACL which ended his season.[2] Locke originally committed to play college football at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where his brother, Braedyn, was playing before flipping his commitment to Sam Houston State University.[3][4][5]
College career
[edit]As a freshman at Sam Houston State in 2025, Locke appeared in six games and started the final three. He completed 71 of 141 passes for 765 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions.[6] Locke entered 2026 as the starter.[7]
