Kyle Maack is an American R&B and soul singer most known for being the first artist[1] signed to Otis Williams of The Temptations.
Early life
[edit]Maack grew up Berlin, New Jersey.[2]
Career
[edit]He is a former member of the United States Air Force where he was part of the entertainment unit, Tops in Blue. After an impromptu audition for Otis Williams in October 2016, Maack signed a recording contract with Williams' label, 10/30 International.[2] Maack's sole release on the label was an EP called "Sharky Ground". It featured three cover songs by The Temptations and "Here I Am", the only original song on the EP, co-written by Maack and Williams.
The release, which received received heavy criticism and negative comments from some as "horrible," "horrendous" and "an injustice,"[3] failed to chart and Maack was subsequently dropped from the label.
