Kurt Brand (10 May 1917 in Barmen – 8 November 1991 in Kaltern) was a German science fiction writer.[1] He wrote 19 science fiction novels between 1946 and 1959, and from 1961 to 1966 he wrote almost forty Perry Rhodan stories.[2][3] He also wrote novels outside the science fiction genre. He died in 1991, in Kaltern, Italy.
