Kevin Roth (born 1957 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is a singer-songwriter, pianist, artist, and Mountain Dulcimer player.[1] He is widely known[2] as one of the leading innovators of the dulcimer around the world and has released 40 albums. Kevin Roth is best known for performing the theme song to the children's television series Shining Time Station, which was written and composed by Joe Raposo. The program aired on PBS for three seasons, spanning 65 half-hour episodes between January 29, 1989, and June 11, 1993. His latest recording (to date) is "The Deviant Dulcimerist,[3]" released on the Star Gazer Productions label. A full biography and more information can be found online at www.kevinrothmusic.com.[4]
