Jayanti 2 is an upcoming Indian Marathi-language drama film directed and written by Shailesh Baliram Narwade. It is a sequel to the 2021 film Jayanti. The film stars Ruturaj Wankhede, Priyadarshini Indalkar, Payal Jadhav, Rohini Hattangadi and Devika Daftardar.[1]
The film is scheduled to be released theatrically on 11 September 2026.[2]
Plot
[edit]Santya runs a canteen at Presidency College in Pune. Tanuja is a postgraduate student and a member of Santya's group of friends. Payal, a new student, faces discrimination from her classmates. She retaliates against them and is subsequently suspended by the college principal. Professor Girija Deshpande is then asked to investigate the incident.[3]

Production
[edit]The film was announced as a sequel to Jayanti. Ruturaj Wankhede, who appeared in the first film, returns as Santya. Priyadarshini Indalkar was cast as Tanuja.[5] [6]
The Central Board of Film Certification certified the film as UA 16+. [7]
