Honest Woman is the fifth studio album by American country music artist Carly Pearce. Hummingbird was released on August 28, 2026 via BBR Music Group and BMG Rights Management and is her first project with the labels. It was preceded by the singles "Dream Come True" and "If I Don't Leave I'm Gonna Stay", and the promotional singles "Church Girl", "You Can Have Him", "She Don't", "What If You Loved Me", and "Happy For Myself". The album was produced by Ben West, contains sixteen tracks, and collaborations with Riley Green, Dan Tyminski, and Molly Tuttle.
Background
[edit]Pearce released her fourth album Hummingbird on June 7, 2024 via Big Machine Records.[1] She embarked on the Hummingbird World Tour from October 2024 to May 2025, and released a deluxe edition of the album subtitled No Rain, No Flowers on March 14, 2025.[2][3]
"Dream Come True", the first single from Honest Woman, was released on November 14, 2025.[4] It was followed by second single "If I Don't Leave I'm Gonna Stay" featuring Riley Green on March 13, 2026.[5] In June 2026, Pearce revealed that she had parted ways with Big Machine and signed a joint record deal with BBR Music Group and BMG Rights Management.[6]
The album was officially announced on June 23, 2026. Of the project, Pearce stated, "when I started making Honest Woman, I found myself rediscovering who I am and why I wanted to be a country music singer in the first place. This album takes me back to the beginning of my story, where the sounds of classic country and bluegrass music shaped who I am. I’m so proud of this body of work, and I truly feel like it’s my best yet."[7]
