Herman van den Engel (23 November 1918 – 27 August 2003) was a Dutch footballer.[1]
Born in Delft, he played in one match for the Netherlands national football team in 1940,[2] just a few weeks before the German invasion of the Netherlands. Van den Engel worked as a cigar wholesaler, according to his marriage certificate.[3]
Between 1958 and 1959, van den Engel coached hometown club DSV Full Speed.[4]
