Harnischia is a genus of non-biting midges in the subfamily Chironominae of the bloodworm family Chironomidae.[1] The genus was first described in 1921 by Jean-Jacques Kieffer.[1][2]
The type species is Harnischia fuscimana Kieffer, 1921.[3]
