Gable Price and Friends is a indie rock worship band established in Redding, California. They are best known for their songs "Thief in the Night," a collaboration with CCM artist Josiah Queen, and "Brother Jack," which was nominated for a GMA Dove Award.

History

Gable Price and Friends was established by Gable Price in 2018 while attending school in Redding, partially in response to failing to make it onto his school's worship team.[1] Price recruited his friends — guitarist Adam Elizarraraz, drummer Daniel Vargas, and producer Jace Fay — to record a debut EP, The Redding Ep, which they released in 2018.[2] They intended for their music to be singable by church congregations.[1]

In 2023, their song "Brother Jack" was chosen as the Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year at the 54th GMA Dove Awards.[3]

In 2024, Daniel Vargas left the band.[4] The next year, Adam Elizarraraz followed suit.[5]

Gable Price and Friends toured with Fitz and the Tantrums in 2025.[2] That same year, they were featured on Josiah Queen's song, "Thief in the Night." The band subsequently joined Queen, along with Benjamin William Hastings, for his Mt. Zion Tour in the spring of 2026.[6]
