Fernanda Ignacia Araya Toloza (born 12 October 1994) is a Chilean footballer who plays as a central forward for Ligat Nashim club Maccabi Kishronot Hadera and the Chile women's national team.
Club career
[edit]As a player of Universidad de Chile, Araya had a stint with Emirati club Abu Dhabi SC alongside her fellows Sofía Hartard and Ámbar Soruco.[4]
In January 2025, Araya moved to Ecuador and signed with Dragonas IDV.[5] In September 2025, she suffered an Achilles tendon rupture.[6]
Back to Chile, she trained with Universidad Católica during the first half of 2026 and moved to Israel to play for Maccabi Kishronot Hadera in the 2026–27 season.[7]
International career
[edit]Araya represented Chile at the 2014 South American U-20 Women's Championship.[1] At senior level, she played the 2014 South American Games and the 2014 Copa América Femenina.
