Fanor Paredes Aqueveque (1856 – 14 July 1920) was a Chilean lawyer and politician who served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile and as Minister of Justice and Public Instruction.

Born in Chillán, he studied humanities at the Liceo de Concepción and law and political science at the University of Chile, qualifying as a lawyer on 25 May 1883. He also worked as a journalist in Concepción and began his public career as a municipal councillor in Chillán, later serving as mayor of the city.

A member of the Liberal Democratic Party, Paredes was first elected to the Chamber of Deputies for Chillán and San Carlos for the 1903–1906 legislative period, serving on the Permanent Commission of Charity and Worship. He returned to the Chamber as deputy for Chillán for the 1912–1915 term, formally taking his seat on 24 June 1912, and served on the Permanent Commission of Social Legislation. He was reelected for the 1915–1918 term and served on the Permanent Commission of Government.

On 15 June 1913, President Ramón Barros Luco appointed him Minister of Justice and Public Instruction, a position he held until 16 November 1913. During his tenure, he promoted measures related to public education and child protection.

Paredes died in Chillán on 14 July 1920.
