Eric Jager (born April 27, 1957)[not verified in body] is an American literary critic and a specialist in medieval literature.[not verified in body] He is a professor in the department of English at University of California, Los Angeles, having received his B.A. from Calvin College (1979), and his M.A and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan (1982, 1987).[1][independent source needed] He has also taught at Columbia University as an associate professor.[2][better source needed]
