Drishyam: The Conclusion[a] is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language crime drama film co-written, produced, and directed by Abhishek Pathak. Produced by Panorama Studios and Star Studio18, it is a sequel to Drishyam (2015), and Drishyam 2 (2022). Unlike its predecessors, the film will feature an original story and will not be narratively connected to its Malayalam counterpart.[4] The film stars Ajay Devgn, Jaideep Ahlawat, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav in the lead roles.[5]

Principal photography took place from December 2025 to June 2026 primarily in Mumbai and Goa.[6]

Drishyam: The Conclusion is scheduled to release on 2 October 2026, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti.[7]

In May 2025, it was confirmed that the third instalment of the original film series would be remade in Hindi.[8] Earlier reports suggested that the original and remake would be filmed and released together simultaneously.[9] However, Jeethu Joseph dismissed these reports, clarifying that original film would release first.[10] In May 2026, Jeethu Joseph confirmed that the film would feature a different narrative from the original version.[11][12] In August 2026, the film's official title was revealed as Drishyam: The Conclusion by the makers.[13]

Casting

In October 2025, Paresh Rawal was reported to have been offered a role in the film.[14] Akshaye Khanna was initially set to reprise his role from the prequel but later exited the project due to creative and financial disagreements with the producers.[15][16] He was subsequently replaced by Jaideep Ahlawat.[17] In February 2026, Prakash Raj joined the cast.[18]

Filming

Principal photography began in December 2025 in Mumbai.[6] In January 2026, filming continued in Goa.[19] Filming was completed in June 2026.[20]

The music of the film is composed by Ravi Basrur, Rochak Kohli and Karma, with lyrics written by Manoj Muntashir, Aamil Keeyan Khan, and Karma.[21] The film score is composed by Amar Mohile.

The first single titled "Vingansa" was released on 17 September 2026.[22] The second single titled "Muskura Do" was released on 23 September 2026.[23] The third single titled "Game Over" was released on 28 September 2026.[24]

Release

In December 2025, an announcement video revealed the release date as 2 October 2026, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti.[25][26] The film's official trailer was revealed on 9 September 2026 at a special event in Panjim, Goa.[27]
