Source Assessment

[edit]

I am OctoEverywhere's developer and disclose that connection. AI assistance was used to audit the references and prepare a proposed revision. I only used AI to help me edit the page to keep it objective and only include relevant objective facts.

The revised source selection distinguishes factual verification from evidence of notability:

  • Hackster.io: Cameron Coward's dedicated article discusses the service and Gadget. This is a principal candidate for product-specific secondary coverage, although its depth and independence remain matters for review.
  • Manufactur3D: The dedicated profile covers the project's background and features. It includes founder statements and company material, so its editorial independence should be assessed rather than assumed.
  • All3DP: The cited articles have named authors and discuss specific features and integrations. Their OctoEverywhere coverage is limited; I am using them primarily to support those facts, not claiming that each independently establishes notability.
  • Hanselminutes and project documentation: These support the developer attribution and installation/compatibility facts respectively. I am not counting the founder interview or official documentation as independent secondary evidence of notability.

AI-tool directories, review aggregators, unsupported dates and detailed compatibility lists have been removed. I would appreciate an assessment of whether the remaining secondary coverage meets WP:NCORP. Quinninator (talk) 23:13, 11 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
