Zeyad Kareem (Arabic: زياد كريم) is an Iraqi-American writer and author who writes in Arabic and English. His works include Fur-Ever, The Path of Paws, أشياء تسكن رأسي (Things That Dwell in My Head)[1], دماء في المنفى (Blood in Exile)[2], and أرجوحة النار (Swing of Fire). Published sources describe Kareem as an Iraqi-American author and writer.

Writing career

Kareem has published works in both English and Arabic. His English-language books include Fur-Ever and The Path of Paws. Google Books identifies him as the author of Things That Dwell in My Head and describes Fur-Ever as his debut book and The Path of Paws[3] as its sequel.

Kareem's children's book Fur-Ever has also been featured by the Inlandia Institute as part of the Riverside Book Festival. [4]

In 2026, Kareem's Arabic-language work included أرجوحة النار (Swing of Fire). Egyptian media outlet E3lam reported on the novel, describing its story as spanning Baghdad, Alexandria and Los Angeles. The same report also discussed his earlier novel دماء في المنفى (Blood in Exile). [5] أشياء تسكن رأسي (Things That Dwell in My Head) was Kareem's first Arabic literary work; it is a collection of reflections; and some of its pieces use titles from well-known Arab films and television series as starting points for independent reflections.[6]
