From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There's 3 Color modes in Wikipedia but they are still

A image of the color UI
A screen shot (Taken at Thursday 5 march 2026 at 09:27 (at 16 seconds)) of the Wikipedia color mode UI

in beta Beta at the left bottom of the toolbar

1 is automatic (*Matches browser theme*) (Useful for efficiency so you don't need to set it to how you prefer)

2 is light default(featuring dark text on a light background, optimizes screen visibility in well-lit environments, reduces glare, and enhances readability for long-form text. It simulates traditional, paper-based reading, providing high contrast that can improve focus and speed, making it ideal for day and office use)

3 is dark (Reduces eye strain) (and is a display setting using light text on a dark background to improve readability in low light, and conserve battery on OLED screens.)
