Draft:Waterkind

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  • Comment: This submission doesn't have the sourcing needed to show notability. The only reference currently in the draft is a LinkedIn job posting, which isn't independent of the company and doesn't count as coverage under any circumstances.
For a company or product to qualify for a Wikipedia article, it needs significant coverage in independent, reliable sources that analyze or report on the subject, not sources published by the company itself. Interviews, funding or partnership announcements, and press releases don't count either, even when they appear in otherwise reputable outlets, per WP:NCORP.
Please look for in-depth articles about Waterkind written by independent journalists or industry analysts, ideally from established Egyptian or international business press, and add those as citations. If that kind of coverage doesn't exist yet, the company likely isn't ready for a Wikipedia article at this time. Balabush (talk) 14:56, 21 July 2026 (UTC)

Waterkind is an Egyptian functional beverage and dietary supplement company headquartered in Egypt. The company produces zero-sugar, electrolyte-infused carbonated water and powder hydration supplement mixes. While traditional sports drinks rely on carbohydrates and sugars to fuel high-endurance athletes, Waterkind targets everyday hydration by using non-caloric sweeteners, specific electrolyte minerals, and added vitamins instead.[1]

History

[edit]

Founding

[edit]

Waterkind completed its first production runs on June 4, 2025. A few weeks later, on June 26, 2025, the company officially launched its commercial operations and opened its direct-to-consumer e-commerce storefront.

Development

[edit]

The brand originally entered the market with canned carbonated electrolyte water. To expand its product line, it later introduced travel-friendly powder hydration supplements sold in single-serve sachets.

Partnerships

[edit]

In May 2026, the company partnered with the specialty coffee roastery Matter Brews to release a Matcha Electrolyte hydration sachet, combining ceremonial-grade matcha with an electrolyte recovery blend. The following month, Waterkind partnered with the restaurant chain Ovio to introduce a seasonal summer menu featuring low-calorie beverages infused with their electrolyte blends. Around the same time, a collaboration with health food brand Copa Açaí led to the engineering of an açaí-flavored electrolyte sachet sold online and across their physical storefronts.

Product Manufacturing

[edit]

All Waterkind products are manufactured and packaged within Egypt. The company relies on a mixed retail strategy, selling directly to consumers through its website while also distributing via wholesale channels. Its physical retail presence includes regional premium supermarket chains like Gourmet Egypt, sports-focused e-tailers such as WayUp Sports, and select local café branches.
