Warren Peeples Jr. (born June 14, 2001)[1] is an American professional football outside linebacker for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the Hutchinson Blue Dragons, the Highland Scotties, the Memphis Tigers, the Northern Iowa Panthers and the Southeastern Louisiana Lions.
Early life and high school
[edit]Peeples grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia and attended South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, Georgia, where he lettered in football and track & field.
College career
[edit]Hutchinson CC
[edit]Peeples began his collegiate career at Hutchinson Community College in 2020. He played in five games and tallied seven tackles, contributing to the Blue Dragons' NJCAA national championship victory.
Highland CC
[edit]In 2021, Peeples transferred to Highland Community College. He had a standout season, playing in nine games and leading the NJCAA with 12.5 sacks and recording 42 total tackles. His performance earned him All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference honors.
Memphis
[edit]Peeples joined the Memphis Tigers for the 2022 season.[2] He appeared in six games, recording four tackles, all against North Alabama.
Northern Iowa
[edit]In 2023, Peeples transferred to Northern Iowa.[3] He played in seven games, tallying four tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss.
Southeastern Louisiana
[edit]Peeples concluded his collegiate career at Southeastern Louisiana in 2024. He was the team's top pass rusher, recording five sacks (fifth in the Southland Conference), 33 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble. His performance earned him First Team All-Southland Conference honors[4] and second-team all-state recognition.[5]

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
[edit]On May 9, 2025, Peeples signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent after going unselected in the 2025 NFL draft.[7] He was released on August 26.[8]
Winnipeg Blue Bombers
[edit]On January 21, 2026, Peeples signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL).[9]
