Wadlow Solicitors is an Australian law firm based in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1979, the firm practises in family law, property, commercial law, wills and estates, and related areas.
History
[edit]Wadlow Solicitors was established in 1979 by John Wadlow.[1] The firm has operated for more than 47 years.
In August 2025, Wadlow Solicitors purchased a heritage-listed art deco office building at 11–13 Bentham Street in the Adelaide CBD for $3.25 million from Woods & Co. The property, originally constructed in 1934, was purchased to accommodate the firm's expansion. The sale was handled by Knight Frank agents and generated 121 enquiries during the campaign.[2]
In September and October 2025, Australasian Lawyer published a two-part interview with Blake Wadlow, a partner at the firm, in which he discussed his career, the firm's growth, and his views on the legal profession.[3][4]

[edit]John Wadlow is the founder and principal of Wadlow Solicitors. He founded the firm in 1979 and has practised as a solicitor for more than 40 years, focusing principally on commercial law and estate planning. He served in the Australian Army Reserve for 44 years, retiring at the rank of Major.[5]
Blake Wadlow RFD is a partner at Wadlow Solicitors. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide and is admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia, the High Court of Australia, and the High Court of New Zealand. His practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution.[6] In 2025, Australasian Lawyer published a two-part profile of Blake Wadlow covering his career and views on the legal profession.[3][4]
