Vineet Mishra (born 25 December 1985) is an Indian bartender and drinks consultant based in Chandigarh.[1] He founded Cocktail Jockey, a platform covering cocktail recipes, bartending techniques, and beverage education in Hindi.[2]

Background and work

Mishra completed his schooling at B.C.M. Arya Model Senior Secondary School in Ludhiana and later studied hotel management in Varanasi.[3]

He worked in the hospitality sector with properties in Goa and Shimla before starting bar training programs and workshops in northern India in 2009.[3][2] Through Cocktail Jockey, he produces educational videos focused on mixology, spirit categories, and responsible drinking for hospitality students and bar staff.[1] He has also worked as a brand advocate and consultant for Indian beverage companies.[2]

Mishra's work has been documented in major Indian broadsheet newspapers. In 2011, national daily Hindustan Times published a feature profile titled "The Ambassador of Spirits", discussing his work in drinks consulting and cocktail culture.[1] He has also been profiled in daily newspaper The Tribune, including the 2009 report "Trends: Shaken and Stirred" on cocktail trends in Punjab, and the 2011 feature "Stars of the Bars" covering professional bartending in the region.[3][2]
