Sattamum Neethiyum (2025)

Vibin Baskar composed the songs and original background score for the Tamil legal drama web series Sattamum Neethiyum, released on ZEE5 in 2025. The series received positive reviews, with several critics highlighting Baskar's music as one of its major strengths.

Reviewers noted that:

  • the background score effectively complemented the emotional tone of the story;
  • the courtroom sequences were enhanced by the music;
  • the climax episode featured an emotionally impactful musical score;
  • the background music strengthened the portrayal of the lead character.

A review published in Cinema Murasam described the music and cinematography as the "pillars of support" for the series.

Angusam praised the emotional integration of the score with the narrative, particularly during the climax.

A review in Hindu Tamil Thisai identified the music as one of the most significant strengths of the series after its screenplay and direction, while also noting that the opening "heroism"-styled title song ("Yaar Ivan?") appeared somewhat inconsistent with the otherwise realistic tone of the drama.

The series has been regarded as an important milestone in Baskar's career, introducing his work to a wider Tamil audience.

Samharini

Vibin Baskar composed the music for the Kannada-language feature film Samharini, where he was credited as Vibin Baskar (V2).
