The University of Tartu Institute of Computer Science is an institute within the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Tartu. The institute is located in University of Tartu Delta Study and Research Building at Narva mnt 18. Since 1 January 2026, the institute has been headed by Jaak Vilo.[2]

Location
[edit]The institute is located in the University of Tartu Delta Centre. The Delta Centre is a complex consisting of a teaching and research building and a business building.[4] In addition to the Institute of Computer Science, the teaching and research building houses the School of Economics and Business Administration, the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics, part of the Institute of Technology, and the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.[4]
University of Tartu Computer Museum

The University of Tartu Computer Museum is located in the Delta Study and Research building. The museum officially opened on 2 November 2009 to mark the 50th anniversary of the arrival of the University of Tartu's first computer. The museum was founded by University of Tartu lecturer Meelis Roos.[5]
