TrendLife is the consumer business unit and brand of Japanese cybersecurity company Trend Micro. Trend Micro introduced the name on April 15, 2026.[1], when it reorganized its existing consumer-facing business under the TrendLife brand. The unit provides consumer cybersecurity, privacy, identity-protection and artificial-intelligence services. Existing Trend Micro consumer products, including security and virtual private network software, continued to be offered following the rebranding.

History

[edit]

On April 15, 2026, Trend Micro announced that its consumer business would operate under the TrendLife name. The company said the rebranding reflected an increased focus on protecting individuals and families from privacy risks, scams, identity fraud, deepfakes and other threats associated with artificial intelligence.[2]

The change did not create a separate company or replace Trend Micro’s existing consumer security products. Instead, it grouped the company’s current consumer services and planned products under a distinct brand. Trend Micro remained TrendLife’s parent company, with Frank Kuo serving as chief consumer business officer.[3]

In August 2026, TrendLife released Kaleida, a subscription-based artificial-intelligence service designed for families.[4]

Products

[edit]

TrendLife offers consumer cybersecurity products, including antivirus software, virtual private network services, identity protection and scam-prevention tools.

  • TrendLife Kaleida is a subscription-based artificial-intelligence service intended for families. It provides separate profiles within a shared household account and includes privacy filtering, scam detection and parental-control features[5]
