Toshitada Higaki (Japanese: 檜垣 俊忠; born 29 September 2010) is a Japanese sailor who competes in the O'pen Skiff class. He was the 2023 All-Japan champion and won the bronze medal in the Under-17 division at the 2025 O'pen Skiff World Championship.

Career

Higaki sails out of the Nishinomiya area.[1] He won the 2023 All-Japan O'pen Skiff Championship,[1] and by early 2024 had already competed at a world championship.[1]

2025 World Championship

The 2025 O'pen Skiff World Championship was held on 19–23 July 2025 off Nishinomiya, the first time the event took place in Japan. It drew 93 sailors from ten countries and 29 races across its divisions.[2] In the Under-17 division (43 boys and 18 girls), Higaki finished third overall behind Australian Kaison Puls, who won with 22 points, and fellow Japanese sailor Yamato Hayashida.[2][3][4]
