He received his secondary education at School No. 269 named after M. Rufat in the Khatai district of Baku. During his school years, he studied dance at the Khatai Dance Ensemble and participated in festivals. From 2004 to 2006, he was a member of Theatre Club No. 1 of the Khatai district, where he participated in several plays and competitions and received diplomas. In 2006, he won first place in the Ministry of Education’s “Author’s Poetry Competition”.
Afterwards, he regularly appeared on children’s television programmes in Azerbaijan and performed at charity concerts. He won the Baku interschool KVN championship as a member of the “269” team. In 2006, he played the character Söhbət in the film ‘’Interpapa’’. In 2009, he graduated from secondary school with a certificate of distinction and a certificate of commendation.
That year, he entered the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, where he studied theatre directing. From 2012 to 2013, Hajiyev worked at the Folklore Theatre. From 10 September 2013, he worked at the Shusha State Musical Drama Theatre.
Career
[edit]From 9 to 12 November 2013, Hajiyev participated in vocal master classes organised by the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the “Addım” Creative Youth Association, and was awarded a diploma. In the first Azerbaijani edition of ‘’The Voice of Azerbaijan’’, Hajiyev turned all four judges during the blind auditions and advanced to the quarter-final stage. He is the author and performer of the lyrics and music of the anthem for volunteers at the Formula One races held in Azerbaijan.
He played the character Yago in ‘‘Aladdin’’, described as the first children’s musical staged in Azerbaijan.
In 2018, Hajiyev presented two new projects, ‘‘Sən’’ and the Canada-produced music video ‘‘King of the Night’’. From 17 December 2018, he co-hosted the ‘‘3 Canlı’’ programme on MTV Azerbaijan with Sabina Gafarova.
Eurovision Song Contest
[edit]İctimai Television conducted a closed casting to select the Azerbaijani representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. More than 40 musicians were invited to the casting, and four advanced to the final. Hajiyev composed the soundtrack for the television series ‘‘Solğun çiçəklər’’, a joint project of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan and İctimai Television, based on the work of Jafar Jabbarly and produced as part of the commemoration of the 120th anniversary of Jabbarly’s birth.Solğun Çiçəklər (OST) Error in Webarchive template: Timestamp not a number. In the competition’s 30-year history, Azerbaijan placed in the top three for the first time.
Hajiyev served as a member of the jury for the 2022 Azerbaijan K-Pop Festival, organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani selection for the K-Pop Festival, which was held in 74 countries worldwide, took place on 27 May 2022.

On 15 September 2023, he performed at the “Almaty Ürəyimdə” and “Almaty City Day” concerts in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and won third place in the international “Almaty Ürəyimdə” vocal competition.

The following year, Hajiyev prepared the song ‘‘Aman Aman’’ for Azerbaijan’s Eurovision 2024 selection.
