Comment: Routine album announcements and interviews do little to nothing to establish notability. We need to see non-routine, significant coverage of the band in credible sources. WP:NBAND Sulfurboy (talk) 17:16, 25 July 2026 (UTC)

The Midgetmen are an American rock band from Austin, Texas.
History
[edit]The members first met around mid-2000 while working at a software company. The band set out to write one song but ended up writing nearly a dozen songs.[1]
The band's debut Pool Party Emergency (2002) was reviewed in The Austin Chronicle in early 2003.[2]
In 2003, the band ranked highly in four categories in the Austin Chronicle Austin Music Awards. In 2004, the band was nominated in two additional categories.[1] In 2007, Jane magazine featured the band in its "Man Map" feature as the Austin musician entry.[3]
The band followed with High Life (2004)[4] and released Loud Enough (2011).[5]
