The Golden Life follows former The Real Housewives of New York City cast members Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon and Dorinda Medley as they navigate their personal and professional lives in and around Palm Beach, Florida. The series documents the women as they reconnect after years of shared friendships and conflicts while balancing dating, family and career milestones within Palm Beach’s social scene.

Production
[edit]In February 2026, E! announced The Golden Life, a reality television series starring original The Real Housewives of New York City cast members Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon and Jill Zarin. The ten-episode first season was scheduled to begin filming in spring 2026 in Palm Beach, Florida, and is produced by Blink49 Studios.[1]
Days after the series was announced, Blink49 Studios confirmed that Zarin would no longer participate following public backlash over comments she made regarding Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance.[2] The studio stated that it had decided not to move forward with her involvement, and on February 17, E! announced that Dorinda Medley had joined the cast in her place.[3]
In July 2026, E! ordered additional episodes for the first season after filming had begun. The expanded order also added author Candace Bushnell and The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Margaret Josephs as recurring participants as production moved from Palm Beach to the Hamptons.[4]
