The Asset Guardian (TAG) is an enterprise asset management (EAM) and computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) software product developed by Verosoft Design Inc., a Canadian software company based in Laval, Quebec.[1] The software operates as an add-on within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and is distributed through the Microsoft Marketplace.[2]
History
[edit]Verosoft Design was founded in 2014 as a subsidiary of ADNM Holding, an information and communications technology company in Laval, Quebec.[1] The company developed TAG as a maintenance management system targeting businesses in manufacturing, energy, and other asset-intensive industries.[1]
In 2018, the Government of Canada and the Government of Quebec provided over $102,000 in financial assistance to support Verosoft Design's startup and export activities, resulting in the creation of approximately 15 jobs.[1] The funding was provided through Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions and the Quebec Ministère de l'Économie, de la Science et de l'Innovation.[1]
Product
[edit]TAG provides maintenance management functions including asset tracking, work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and parts inventory management.[2] The software is embedded within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, integrating with Microsoft's Azure technology stack.[3]
In a 2021 interview, Verosoft Design CEO Martin Turgeon described TAG as offering computerised maintenance management, enterprise asset management, and asset performance management in a single solution, with mobile interfaces designed for users with varying levels of technical expertise.[3]
